Company overview

Team BlackSheep (TBS) develops equipment for first-person-view (FPV) flying. Led by Raphael Pirker, also known as Trappy, the team has used the Team BlackSheep name since 2007, drawing on its roots flying with goggles in Switzerland and Austria. Its headquarters, research and development, and support operations are in Singapore. Blacksheep Avionics Co Ltd handles factory and logistics operations in Hong Kong, while Conceptos Pirker GmbH operates the Austria / Europe office and handles EU returns.

Its radio-link hardware includes the TBS Crossfire Nano RX, a compact receiver designed for mini- and micro-quads. It weighs 0.5 g and supports 12 channels, frequencies from 868 to 915 MHz, a 3.3–8.4 V input supply, and PPM, SBUS, CRSF and PWM outputs. Its stated range is 40 km, and it requires Crossfire firmware V6.10 or above. The receiver comes with a TBS Crossfire Micro Receiver Antenna, spare shrink tubing, six connection wires and a four-pin header. The Crossfire range also includes the Nano RX (SE), Diversity Nano RX and Micro TX V2 transmitter.
