Product overview
The WhiteNoiseFpv X TBS Race Wire is a PCB accessory for racing and freestyle quadcopters that replaces a section of motor wiring along each arm. Positioned beneath the propeller tips, it provides a board surface against which a propeller bent during a crash can deflect. Installation involves taping the PCB onto the arm and soldering the motor and ESC connections to opposite ends. Isolation between the board and carbon remains necessary.
Each board measures 40 x 8 x 0.8mm and uses a two-layer construction with 2oz copper. The supplied configuration is a set of six individual boards. Its flat upper surface also provides a mounting position for upward-facing LEDs. Once installed, the boards allow motors to be changed without opening the quadcopter to reach a 4in1 ESC or AIO board. Their resistance and weight are described as virtually unchanged relative to standard 20AWG motor wire.
