Product overview

The Team BlackSheep TBS Tracer Micro TX is a transmitter module for FPV racing drone control, providing a radio and telemetry link in the 2.4GHz ISM band. It uses the Tracer protocol and a JR interface for connection to a host radio with a compatible module interface. Its specifications include a 250Hz update rate and a 12-channel digital stream. Beyond drones, its stated applications include model planes, helicopters, cars and boats. The Tracer system also features a nano-sized receiver with antenna diversity.

The Micro TX measures 65 x 48 x 22 mm, weighs 38g and accepts a +5 to 13V input, with a standard SMA antenna connector. Team BlackSheep specifies 3ms end-to-end latency and a range of 15mi+/25km+. Wi-Fi connectivity supports TBS Cloud, while Bluetooth, a built-in display and external power support are marked unavailable. Available output power modes may be restricted by local regulations.
