Mugin UAV is an industrial drone developer and manufacturer based in Xiamen, Fujian, China, established in 2017. It develops carbon-fiber composite airframe kits, kits with matched propulsion systems, and flight platforms for developers, equipment manufacturers and system integrators. Its hardware range also includes avionics, mission payloads and ground systems. Documented applications include infrastructure inspection, mapping and surveying, logistics delivery, environmental monitoring, surveillance, and search and rescue.
Its aircraft range spans electric and battery-and-petrol VTOL fixed-wing platforms. The compact, all-electric Mugin EV350 is designed for short- to medium-range inspection, mapping and surveying, while the battery-operated Mugin EV460 supports different mission payloads. The Mugin 3600mm Hybrid VTOL combines battery and petrol power for large-area missions. The Mugin 5000mm Hybrid Electric VTOL has eight motors and is designed for operations over land and sea. The Mugin 6000mm Long Range VTOL has a stated payload capacity of 25 kg and flight time of up to five hours. Customers can choose airframes for their own integration or platforms with more systems already incorporated, depending on their development needs.
