Product overview
The MUGINUAV Mugin GV500 Flight Platform serves long-range industrial and mission-system applications that need vertical deployment and fixed-wing cruise. Its gasoline engine powers cruise, while electric propulsion handles vertical take-off, landing and transition, allowing operation without a conventional runway. The carbon fiber composite aircraft measures approximately 5000 × 3500 × 960 mm and has a 260 dm² wing area. Maximum take-off weight is 100 kg, with payload capacity up to 20 kg; maximum payload and maximum endurance correspond to different operating conditions.
The current platform uses the latest GV500C airframe, incorporating two-piece VTOL booms, reinforced boom structures and internal ribs. The updated booms have approximately 2.5 times the static load capacity of the previous design. Redesigned motor mounts support heavy-load VTOL operation, while all-aluminum wing-joint latches and a center wing bolted directly to the fuselage revise the assembly connections. A standardized parachute compartment supports integration. Fuselage internal dimensions are approximately 1800 × 368 × 393 mm, with usable installation space dependent on flight systems, mounting arrangements and wiring.
The GV500 is supplied as a complete unmanned aircraft system with propulsion, flight control, power and actuators installed and configured. Mission payloads, data links and ground control equipment are selected for the application. Reference endurance is approximately 1.8 hours with 20 kg payload and 12 L fuel, 3.9 hours with 15 kg and 23 L, or 5 hours with 10 kg and 30 L. Endurance and range vary with loading, flight conditions, altitude, weather and mission profile; the greater-than-500 km reference range is not guaranteed across operating conditions.
