Product overview

The Mugin UAV Potomac 80km 816/1437MHz Video/Data Wireless Transmission System provides a communications link for video feeds and data exchange. Its flat, point-to-multipoint network supports a central hub with up to 16 hosts, with selectable bandwidths from 1.4MHz to 20MHz. Applications include power and hydrological line patrol observation and emergency communications. The system supports real-time recording, automatic frequency selection and access-node power adjustment according to signal quality, while the hub operates at maximum rated transmission power.

The supplied hardware consists of one air unit and one ground unit, two 46cm air-unit antennas, two 16cm ground-unit antennas, four antenna connectors and two each of UART, power and Ethernet cables. Integration connections comprise two Ethernet ports and two RS232 ports using PH2.0 interfaces. The 816MHz or 1437MHz frequency configuration requires customization and cannot be changed by users. Transmission distance is software-limited through an application-appropriate 3–80km version. Typical consumption is around 30W, and the working temperature range is -20°C to +55°C.
