The MAD ExpressLRS module ES900TX/ES900RX provides a radio transmitter and receiver link with a choice of 915MHz or 868MHz, with the latter designated EU. The transmitter uses ESP32+ESP8285 processing, while the receiver uses an ESP8285; both use the SX1276IMLTRT RF chip. Integration centers on an OpenTX radio and a CRSF connection from the receiver to the flight controller. Named radio matches include Radiomaster TX16S and Jumper T12, T16 and T18 series. Radio setup requires External RF mode set to CRSF.
The transmitter measures 55 × 39 × 11mm and weighs 9.2gram for the module alone; its SMA antenna connection accompanies a customized heat sink and 2006 fan. The receiver measures 12 × 12 × 3mm, weighs 0.60 gram without its antenna and uses IPEX1. Transmitter input is 5–13v, with 5–9v recommended, while the receiver requires 5v. The combined kit includes both modules and their antennas; individual transmitter and receiver packages each include the corresponding antenna. These are radio components supplied for integration into a control system.
