The FlySky Technology Co., Ltd. FS-i4X is an entry-level radio transmitter for fixed-wing aircraft, gliders and boats. Its standard configuration provides four channels, with DIY expansion supporting a maximum of ten. Channel reversing and mixing provide control setup functions for supported models. The radio uses AFHDS 2A and also supports AFHDS compatibility, with a specified frequency of 2.4G and transmitting power below 20 dBm. Its role in an aircraft installation is the operator’s control transmitter.
The black transmitter measures 174 × 89 × 190 mm and has a body weight of 323 g. Its physical configuration combines a single antenna with a PS/2 data interface carrying PPM. Power is specified as four 1.5 V AA batteries, with a low-voltage alarm below 4.2 V and no charging interface. The temperature range is 0°C to +60°C and the humidity range is 20%–95%. Channel resolution is 1024, and online updating is unsupported.
