The T-MOTOR VL1180 KV60 is a propulsion motor for ultra heavy-lift VTOL UAVs, intended for heavy payload transport, long-endurance missions and industrial aerial operations. Optimized for 24S high-voltage systems, it delivers up to 88kg thrust per motor. Its intended integration space includes compound-wing and heavy-lift quadrotor aircraft with 140–150kg maximum takeoff weight. The motor also supports 360° electronic propeller locking with compatible ESCs during cruise flight, reducing aerodynamic drag and improving efficiency in that operating phase.
The motor’s construction combines dust-proof mesh and an optimized internal structure to provide IP45 dust and water protection. These features block debris and dust to help maintain winding insulation in harsh environments. Imported 6903 bearings and a ≤20mg dynamic balance standard support smooth rotation and low vibration. Real-time temperature monitoring supplies operational feedback under load. Electrical integration centers on the 24S system, while use of the cruise-flight propeller-locking function depends on pairing the motor with compatible ESCs.
