Product overview

The Shenzhen JND Technology Co., Ltd JND ST-91-GNL provides positioning, tracking and navigation functions for integration into flight-control systems and other electronic equipment. Its UAV applications include model aircraft, quadrotors, hexarotors and other multirotors. The hardware is a single-sided surface-mount receiver module suitable for secondary SMT assembly, built around the eighth-generation UBX-M8030 chipset. Integrated LNA, SAW and flash components accompany a KDS 0.5PPM TCXO and an RTC crystal. Flash storage retains configuration commands through power loss.

Integration options include selectable UART/TTL or USB2.0 output, configurable NMEA sentence combinations and a 1Hz–10Hz refresh rate. The default serial rate is 9600bps, with selectable rates extending to 921600bps. User-selectable pedestrian, vehicle, stationary, portable and airborne profiles accompany 2D and 3D positioning settings. Satellite quality controls, position-drift software settings and AssistNow Online and Offline support provide further configuration options. Positioning PPS indicator support distinguishes the pre-fix state, with the light on or off, from the flashing indication after a fix.
