The AheadX H30 is a handheld ground station for UAV flight, mission operation and camera control. Its physical controls include right-side shortcut buttons, an L1 key and a gimbal joystick, alongside a 7-inch high-definition touchscreen. Display brightness reaches a peak of 1000 nits for viewing in strong sunlight. Endurance is up to six hours, with 36W PD fast charging and operation while charging. Automatic discovery of UAVs and avionics, connection at startup and equipment status display support flight preparation, together with a one-touch flight-servo self-test.
The H30 provides AheadX-developed assisted flight for hybrid-wing UAVs and one-touch switching between flight and mission operation. Camera controls use the right-side shortcut buttons and corresponding prompts to switch lens types; fixed-magnification zoom requires a zoom lens. In full-screen video mode, a one-touch command sends the UAV toward the location at the image center. In quick-search mode, holding L1 makes the UAV move along the gimbal's viewing direction while the operator controls the gimbal joystick. After touch-locking a target, holding L1 enables tracking flight.
