Product overview
The Scorpion HK5-4035-395kv is a BLDC motor intended for 600 through lightweight 700 size helicopters using 12s–14s LiPo batteries, with other applications described up to 7280 W. Its cooling architecture combines an internal fan with an external centrifugal fan. The motor has a 40 mm stator diameter, 35 mm stator thickness, 12 stator arms and 10 stator poles. Its electrical construction uses a 6T Delta winding and 1.25 mm motor wire.
Installation space must accommodate a 49.5 mm × 67.1 mm motor body and a 5.98 mm × 38 mm external shaft; motor weight is 474.8 g. The supplied package contains one HK5-4035 BLDC motor, three female 4 mm connectors, three heat-shrink pieces and one hardware/accessory pack. Continuous ratings are 70 A and 3108 W, while 140 A and 7280 W are limited to two seconds. Higher battery cell counts require an appropriate gear ratio adjustment.
