Product overview
The Scorpion HK-3536 Bearing Kit supplies two original equipment replacement bearings for the Scorpion HK-3536 motor. It is a motor maintenance component, with each bearing measuring 16mm in outside diameter, 8mm in inside diameter and 5mm thick. The bearings replace the motor’s stock bearings and fit snugly into its housings. The kit addresses bearing replacement needs, including damage that can occur after a crash or a landing in dirt. Weight including packaging is 12g.
Installation requires care because force applied incorrectly can damage the bearing races. Removing the old bearings may require gentle tapping, but the replacement bearings must be pressed into position through the outer race. Tapping the new bearings into place can dent the ball races and ruin them. Pressure on the inner race can also damage a bearing and cause premature failure. The snug housing fit therefore comes with a specific installation requirement: apply pressing force through the outer race.
