The RadioLink RE15A 2S is a brushless electronic speed controller intended for fixed-wing propulsion systems. Its electronics combine an EFM8BB21F16G microcontroller with a BLHeli_S fixed-wing algorithm, hardware filtering and synchronous freewheeling. Control algorithms, PCB optimization and demagnetization compensation support linear motor output across the throttle range. For integration, it accepts PWM and Dshot300 commands, automatically detects the throttle signal at startup and accommodates standard throttle inputs with pulse widths of 1–2 ms. An integrated 5V BEC supplies receivers and servos.
Motor timing defaults to Medium (15°), with selectable settings of 0°, 7.5°, 15°, 22.5° and 30° to accommodate motor inductance and load differences. Protective functions include anti-stall protection, power limiting at low motor speeds and automatic output reduction above a configured temperature threshold. With power applied and throttle at zero, the motor enters a drag-braking state to prevent unintended rotation. The supplied configuration comprises one ESC and one packaging bag, making this a propulsion-control component rather than a complete aircraft or airframe kit.
