Product overview
The Kimpok KP-T1280D provides an analog FPV video link for drone applications, including inspection behind ridges or infrastructure and scientific data collection in dense forest environments. Its 1.2G radio covers 1080MHz-1360MHz through eight selectable channels, with 8W (8000mW) output. The transmitter measures 65x40x20mm, weighs 99g and connects to an antenna through an SMA connector. Supplied equipment consists of the transmitter unit, a user manual and necessary mounting accessories, packed in an anti-static bag within a foam-padded box.
Installation requires space for custom active cooling, thermal bonding and placement in the highest available airflow. A matched, high-efficiency transmitting antenna with VSWR less than 1.2:1 and a high-gain directional ground-station antenna are required. Shielding, physical isolation and filtered cables are mandatory, with placement away from flight-control electronics, GPS and other sensitive avionics. The input rating is DC 12V, 650mA; the power-integration requirement separately calls for a dedicated, heavily filtered supply capable of 15A to 20A+ at common voltages such as 12V. The integrated system adds substantial weight and reduces flight endurance.
