The PA01 from FLYSKY Technology Co.,Ltd is a radio transmitter for controlling FPV drones, fixed-wing aircraft, gliders and helicopters, as well as model cars, boats and robots. It operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band using AFHDS 3/ELRS protocols. Compatible receivers include FTr16s and TMr for AFHDS 3, and PR01 and PR02 for ELRS. Its channel count depends on the transmission configuration: internal transmission provides 18 channels, while external transmission provides 32. Channel resolution is 4096 levels, and transmit power is below 20 dBm.
The PA01 combines a single external extendable, rotating antenna with a 2.4-inch, 240 × 320 IPS color display without touch input. Connections include USB Type-C, a 3.5 mm audio port and a 3.5 mm trainer port (DSC). USB Type-C supports charging, and firmware updates are supported. The specified power configuration is 7.4 V, 2 × 18650 LiPo, with a low-voltage alarm below 7.2 V. Operating conditions are -10°C to +60°C and 20% to 95% humidity. The translucent black transmitter measures 174.9 × 131.4 × 67.5 mm and weighs 343 g excluding batteries; the charging base weighs 67 g excluding batteries.
