Product overview
The RadioLink T8FB(BT) is an eight-channel handheld radio control system for aircraft and other remotely controlled models. Its left-hand throttle layout combines two sticks with trims, reversing switches, two rotary controls and two auxiliary switches. A TI CC2500 radio chip supports FHSS operation across 67 hopping channels. The supplied configuration includes a transmitter, an R8EF receiver, a spare throttle-centering accessory, a manual and packaging. This is control hardware for integration into a model, rather than a supplied flight platform or airframe kit.
The R8EF connects to a flight controller through S-BUS or PPM while retaining corresponding PWM outputs on channels 3–8, allowing auxiliary equipment to use separate control outputs. Bluetooth supports phone-based setup, while USB provides computer configuration and firmware upgrading; firmware upgrades currently require Windows XP, 7, 8 or 10. Power input spans 4.8–18 V, with battery installation constrained by the 115 × 36 × 23.5 mm compartment. Receiver selection affects control range, and actual operating distance depends on flight conditions.
