Product overview
The BWSENSING BW-VG300 is a digital dynamic inclination sensor for measuring attitude in moving and stationary equipment. Its application areas include unmanned aircraft, robotics, platform stabilization, construction and agricultural machinery, ships, autonomous driving, and underwater ROV navigation. Measurement processing combines Kalman filtering with nonlinearity and orthogonality compensation. Gyroscope drift compensation and a special bias-tracking algorithm address drift. For integration planning, its attitude coverage extends to ±90° in pitch and ±180° in roll, with separate accuracy figures for dynamic and static measurement.
The enclosed sensor occupies a 60 × 59 × 29 mm integration envelope and weighs 280g including its cable; weight including packaging is 360g. Electrical integration offers a choice of RS232, RS485, or TTL output, making interface selection a configuration consideration. Dynamic accuracy is 0.3°, while static accuracy and resolution are each 0.01°. The temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. Shock resistance is 2000g for a 0.5ms pulse, applied three times per axis, and mean time between failures is specified as at least 90,000 hours.
