The Viewpro QIR50T Pro is a thermal object-tracking gimbal camera for UAV observation and inspection. Its infrared imaging configuration combines a 50mm lens with an uncooled long-wave infrared sensor offering 1280×1024 resolution, a 12μm pixel pitch and a 25Hz frame rate. The model is intended for long-range thermal detection and uses a thermal-only configuration, without an electro-optical camera or laser rangefinder. Civilian applications for the series include search and rescue, powerline and infrastructure inspection, firefighting and forest monitoring.
The QIR50T Pro weighs 943g and measures 112×136×181.3mm, providing concrete payload dimensions for UAV integration. It supports object tracking, IP and SDI video output, and control through UART, PWM, PPM, S.BUS, TCP and UDP. Onboard storage supports an SD card up to 512G. Its thermal imagery serves observation tasks at night and in scenes affected by smoke, fog or fire, while the absence of a laser rangefinder means this configuration does not provide laser distance measurements.
