Product overview
The Wuxi Beiwei Sensing Technology BW-IMU225E is a low-cost inertial measurement unit with CAN output, gyroscope sensing and acceleration measurement on the X, Y and Z axes. Its applications include unmanned aircraft, platform stabilization, autonomous driving, robotics, unmanned vessels and construction machinery. The gyroscope has a ±400°/sec range and 0.01°/sec resolution, while the accelerometer has a ±2g range and 0.01mg resolution. Output frequency is 500Hz, and compensation covers nonlinearity, orthogonality and temperature effects.
The packaged product measures 97 × 63 × 27.2mm, while the bare board measures 60 × 54 × 6mm. Bare-board length and width may vary by ±1mm, with actual dimensions governing installation space. Electrical requirements are 9-36V DC and 30mA operating current, rising to a maximum of 40mA. Operating temperature spans -40 to 85°C, with storage from -55 to 100°C. Gyroscope bias stability carries room-temperature, duration and 1σ conditions; accelerometer bias stability is specified at 25°C with separate 100s and 10s values.
