Nanjing Feiying Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd develops and manufactures tethered drone systems, tethered power supplies and mission payloads in Nanjing's Qinhuai District. Founded in 2012, the company initially focused on AC/DC and DC/DC modular high-frequency switching power supplies. It began developing high-power tethered supplies in 2015 while participating in a heavy-lift tethered drone study for an Army project, and its subsequent work has included military and civilian tethered drone projects.
Its hardware range includes tethered configurations for DJI aircraft including the Mavic 3, Matrice 4, Matrice 4D, Matrice 30, Matrice 350, Matrice 400, FlyCart 30 and FlyCart 100. Tethered power systems include 55 m configurations at 400 W or 1 kW, 110 m configurations at 2 or 3 kW, 220 m configurations at 3 or 6 kW, and 330 m configurations at 9, 12, 18, 24, 30 or 36 kW. Floodlighting payloads come in 600 W, 1200 W, 2400 W and 4800 W versions.
The company's airborne power supplies use regulated circuits to maintain constant output voltage across a wide input range. Automatic cable handling uses adaptive torque control with different forces for deployment and retrieval. Applications across its equipment range include aerial filming, stationary monitoring, emergency lighting, search illumination, relay communications, disaster response and firefighting, depending on the aircraft, power system and mission payload configuration.
