Product overview
The YRDRONE LJ8020 KV180 is a brushless propulsion motor for fixed-wing drones, including VTOL UAV aircraft. Its cylindrical dimensions are 90 +/-0.1 mm in diameter and 75.8 +/-0.3 mm in length, with a weight of 883 +/-15 g. The motor uses a 24-slot, 28-pole configuration and has a speed constant of 180 +/-5% RPM/V. Recommended integration components include a 10–14S LiPo battery and a 2310 or 2409 propeller. Custom KV, appearance and color options are available for OEM/ODM projects.
Electrical integration must accommodate a maximum continuous current of 106 A and power of 4515.6 W at 42.6 V. The higher maximum rating of 120 A and 5112 W at the same voltage is limited to 15 seconds. Temperature at maximum continuous current is 88.5°C. The magnets have a maximum operating temperature of 150°C, with a recommended maximum of 120°C. Thrust performance depends on propeller selection, voltage and test conditions, so these operating variables remain material to propulsion selection.
