The T-MOTOR V120A 14S FOC Drone ESC is a UAV motor-control component built around FOC vector control. It accepts 18~60V (6~14S) input and supports PWM and CAN commands, with DroneCAN (CAN 2.0) support and PX4 compatibility. Dual CAN + PWM throttle redundancy, an isolated throttle design and shielded signal cabling support its control integration. Intelligent magnetic propeller locking is another included function. The controller has no BEC, a material constraint when planning the aircraft’s electrical system.
The controller measures 103 × 50 × 26 mm in length, width and height, weighs 130g excluding cable and reaches 170g with cables. Its cable configuration includes 120mm 12AWG input wires, 75mm 12AWG output wires, a 470mm shielded signal cable and a 420mm shielded encoder cable with an M6 aviation connector. Continuous current is 60A. Peak current is 130A, with two duration qualifications: 3s in the concise specifications and less than 10s in the detailed table. Throttle refresh frequency is 50~500Hz, and throttle response speed is 300ms.
