Product overview
The T-MOTOR U5 Power U-Type High Efficiency UAV Motor KV400 is a brushless propulsion component for industrial drones, with applications in aerial photography, filming, delivery and agriculture. Its 12N14P configuration occupies a Φ42.5×37.5mm motor body with a 5mm shaft. Electrical integration uses 600mm cables in 16# AWG. Weight is 156g without cables and 195g with them. The supplied package contains one U5 motor and one hardware pack; this is a motor component rather than a complete flight platform or airframe kit.
The motor uses six upward-beveled ventilation holes, water- and sand-resistant construction, an oxygen-free copper coil tolerating 180 °C, and large bearings. Battery support is 3-8S LiPo, while the recommended setup pairs 6s with 14-16 inch propellers and a Flame 60A ESC. At 22.2V with a T-MOTOR 16*5.4CF propeller, full-throttle figures are 2850g thrust, 20A and 444W. The separate maximum continuous ratings are 120W and 30A, with the current rating qualified by a 180S duration.
