The Scorpion HK-3536-510KV Motor is a brushless motor developed for 600 class electric helicopters with narrow motor frames, such as Trex-600. Its electromagnetic assembly combines a 35mm stator diameter and 36mm stator thickness with 12 stator arms and 10 magnet poles. The 11 Turn Delta winding uses 16-Strand 0.25mm wire. CNC-machined aluminum alloy parts have a gold electro-coated finish, while the stator incorporates epoxy-coated 0.2mm laminations. The winding wire carries a temperature rating of 180 degrees C (356 F).
The motor's integration dimensions include a 45.0 mm outside diameter, 61.5 mm body length, 5.98 mm shaft diameter and 98.0 mm overall shaft length. Installation requires sufficient spacing between the pinion and main gear to avoid binding. Electrical specifications include 510Kv RPM/Volt and a maximum 12s LiPo configuration. Maximum continuous current and power are 70 Amps and 2900 Watts; peak ratings of 100 Amps and 4150 Watts each apply for 2 seconds. Motor timing is 5deg, with an 8kHz drive frequency.

Bearings are wear items that require periodic maintenance and replacement, including a small drop of oil on each bearing every 5-6 flights. The two-year warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship. Bearings are excluded from that coverage, as is subsequent damage to the motor caused by a bearing failure.
