The Scorpion HK-3014-900KV is a brushless electric helicopter motor designed for the Goblin 380. Its construction combines CNC-machined, gold-anodized aluminum alloy parts with an epoxy-coated stator using 0.2mm laminations. Installation requires sufficient pinion-to-main-gear clearance to prevent binding. Bearings require periodic maintenance and replacement, including a small drop of oil every 5-6 flights. The 2-Year materials and workmanship warranty excludes bearings and motor damage resulting from bearing failure.
