The Scorpion HK-30 Motor Bearing Kit supplies two original equipment replacement bearings for Scorpion HK-3026 Series helicopter motors with serial numbers beginning with IE or later. Its purpose is motor maintenance, including replacement of bearings damaged after a crash or a landing in dirt. The supplied pair comprises an output-end bearing measuring 13mm outside diameter × 5mm inside diameter × 4mm thick and a second bearing measuring 10mm outside diameter × 5mm inside diameter × 4mm thick.
Both bearings replace the stock motor bearings and fit snugly into the motor housings. The two sizes share a 5mm bore and 4mm thickness, while their outside diameters differ. Removal of old bearings may require gentle tapping, but installation requires pressing through the outer race.
