Product overview
The DYS BE4114 is a brushless outrunner motor for multicopter propulsion, including quadcopter and hexacopter applications. Rated at 350 rpm/V, it supports 5–6S LiPo batteries and weighs 150 g. Its housing measures 46 mm in diameter by 31 mm in length, enclosing a stator with a 41 mm diameter and 14 mm length; the shaft diameter is 4.0 mm. DYS describes the BE-series construction as using 0.2 mm Kawasaki 1200 # silicon steel, 40UH magnets, Japanese NSK bearings and a CNC-machined shell.
Maximum continuous ratings are 11.5 A and 212 W. Load data for the BE4114-10 (350KV) with a 15X5.5 propeller gives 1670 g of pull at 11.5 A and 212.75 W, paired with 18.5 V and a six-cell LiPo. Another point gives 2100 g at 14.5 A and 321.9 W, paired with 22.2 V and a five-cell LiPo. These voltage and cell-count combinations are inconsistent, leaving the actual battery conditions unresolved. The 1670 g point slightly exceeds the continuous power rating, while the 2100 g point exceeds both continuous ratings. Neither has a specified operating duration.
