Product overview
The Zhongke Ruitai ZKRT-RA01K is an aircraft-mounted radio altimeter for measuring distance to the ground or target objects in real time. Its sensing architecture combines highly integrated MMIC technology, frequency-modulated continuous-wave operation and one transmit antenna with one receive antenna. The 92.0 × 55.64 × 13.02 mm body weighs 60 g, giving aircraft integrators a compact sensor package to accommodate. Applications include UAVs, helicopters and small airships, with altitude information delivered through the listed UART, RS485, RS232 and CAN interfaces.
The altimeter has a minimum detection distance of 0.3 m and a maximum of 100 m, with range measurement accuracy of 0.02 m. Output refresh is typically 10 Hz and reaches 20 Hz maximum. Its horizontal and vertical fields of view are ±10° and ±15° respectively at -6 dB. Electrical integration requires 9–24 V, with 12 V typical, and power consumption spans 1.4–1.6 W.
