Product overview
Zhongke Ruitai’s ZKRT-RA02K is an aircraft-mounted radio altimeter that measures real-time distance to the ground or target objects. Its sensing architecture combines highly integrated MMIC technology with FMCW operation, using one transmitting and one receiving antenna. The 92.0 × 55.64 × 13.02 mm body weighs 60 g, providing a compact sensor package for integration into UAVs, helicopters and small airships. This is an altitude-sensing hardware component intended for installation on a carrier aircraft.
The altimeter outputs altitude and range information through listed UART, RS485, RS232 and CAN interfaces. Detection extends from 0.3 to 200 m, with range measurement accuracy of 0.02 m and a typical output refresh rate of 10 Hz, rising to a maximum of 20 Hz. Electrical integration requires 9–24 V, with 12 V typical and typical consumption of 1.5 W. The frequency specifications differ: the parameter table gives 24–24.5 GHz, while the product description gives 24–24.25 GHz.
