Guangdong Zhongke Ruitai Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.’s ZKRT-ODR02W is a millimeter-wave radar sensor for forward and rearward obstacle detection on aircraft. Its sensing architecture combines a highly integrated MMIC with FMCW and MIMO operation in the 60~64GHz band, using a 4TX/4RX antenna configuration. Intended obstacles include trees, utility poles, building walls and overhead cables. The compact housing measures 84.0 × 55.6 × 13.1mm and weighs 81g, supporting integration into confined mounting spaces on UAVs, light helicopters and small airships.
The radar configuration provides 16 sectors, an output point-cloud count of 300 and a 5~20Hz data refresh rate. Its horizontal and vertical fields of view are 20° and 36°, respectively. Detection spans 0.2–60m, with target-specific maxima of 60m for utility poles and 30m for coniferous trees; measurement accuracy is ±0.2m. CAN, UART and 485 interfaces carry obstacle distance, angle and relative velocity. Electrical integration requires 9~24V, with 1.2W consumption. Operating limits are -40°C~85°C and 5%~95%RH.
