Product overview

The ZKRT-RA03K measures aircraft height relative to the ground and distance to target objects using FMCW radar with highly integrated MMIC chip technology. It supports installation on UAVs, helicopters and small airships for low-altitude height measurement. Its physical configuration combines one transmit antenna and one receive antenna in a unit measuring 113.75 × 68.75 × 14.4 mm and weighing 89 g. The compact dimensions and low mass define the hardware space and weight needed for integration.

Height and distance information is available through UART, RS485, RS232 and CAN interfaces, with a typical output refresh rate of 10 Hz and a maximum of 20 Hz. Detection extends from 0.3 m to 300 m, with stated distance accuracy of 0.02 m. The horizontal and vertical fields of view are ±6° and ±10° at -6 dB. Supply requirements are 9–24 V, typically 12 V, with consumption of 1.4–1.6 W. Frequency specifications differ: the descriptive range is 24–24.25 GHz, while the parameter table specifies 24–24.5 GHz.
