Product overview
The 8XMax belongs to the Shuangyu 8X camera series. The series encrypts original images during capture and uses secure copying, dedicated aerial-image quality checks and indoor network decryption.
The series uses five cameras arranged around the body, with synchronized exposures to capture aerial images of terrain from multiple angles.
Drone integration requires a platform that can carry more than 950 g and supply 15V-30V DC power.
The series does not support surveying without ground control points.
For survey planning, the manufacturer specifies extending image capture beyond the survey boundary by a distance equal to the flight height to preserve model quality at the edges.
