Product overview
The RadioLink R16SM provides the radio control and telemetry link for integration with a flight controller, including fixed-wing aircraft applications. Its receiver architecture combines 16-channel output, built-in data transmission and selectable CRSF or SBUS signaling, powered by a 3V to 12V input. FHSS communication uses 67-channel pseudo-random frequency hopping, with a stated control distance of 3000 meters in air. The supplied configuration comprises one receiver, one flight controller connection cable and one packing bag, making this a receiver component rather than a flight platform or airframe kit.
Integration depends on the selected signal mode: CRSF uses the flight controller’s TELEM1/TELEM2 port and a steady blue indicator, while SBUS uses RC IN together with TELEM1/TELEM2 and a steady red indicator. With flight control and GPS connected, telemetry can include position, speed, heading, attitude, battery information and flight mode. SBUS limits transmission to longitude, latitude and battery voltage; receiver voltage cannot be transmitted because of CRSF protocol limitations. Compatible RadioLink transmitters include the listed T-series and surface models, with customizable real-time voice telemetry available when paired with T16D.
