Product overview
The Maytech MTSPF7.5H No Case is a programmable motor-controller PCB for electric propulsion and robotics, including electric skateboards, efoils and underwater ROVs. It is supplied as a PCB-only unit without a case or water cooling. Its V75/300-based hardware uses separate high-current and low-current circuit boards with a heat sink between them. Construction includes 24 MOSFETs, four MOSFETs in parallel, a copper strip on the PCB and nine capacitors rated at 100V 470μf each. The firmware is upgradable.
The controller accepts 5-18S LiPo input at 18V-75V and includes a BEC, with 5V and 12V auxiliary outputs for external devices. VESC_TOOL supports programming for brushed and brushless motors, inrunner and outrunner layouts, and sensored, sensorless or hybrid operation. Available control includes BLDC square-wave and FOC sine-wave modes, adjustable forward/reverse/braking and regenerative braking. USB, CAN, UART, PPM, ADC and motor sensor interfaces provide integration options, while SWD gives direct chipset access for diagnostics, debugging and real-time data.
The VESC current specification is 300A. VESC_TOOL settings specify motor current maximum at ≤300A and absolute maximum current at 350A, both according to motor current; battery current maximum is ≤150A according to battery discharge current. A sealed enclosure requires forced water cooling, sufficient controller space and unobstructed cooling tubes with adequate water flow. In controller arrays, one receiver must not feed multiple VESCs through Y-PPM wiring because permanent damage may result. CAN interconnection must use only CAN L and CAN H, leaving GND and 5V unconnected between controllers.
