The JOUAV MS600 V2 is a six-channel multispectral camera for precision agriculture, forestry monitoring, and river and lake ecology. Each channel has 1.2-megapixel resolution, with a 12-bit global shutter and a shooting frequency of 1 Hz. Its applications include growth assessment, coverage assessment and monitoring pine discoloration. The camera combines a sapphire optical window, an all-glass lens and an aluminum alloy body in a housing measuring 79 × 74 × 52 mm and weighing 275 g.

The standard spectral configuration comprises bands at 450, 555, 660, 720, 750 and 840 nm, with respective bandwidths of 35, 27, 22, 10, 10 and 30 nm. Custom channel combinations can be selected from 17 wavelength options spanning 410–900 nm, including two distinct 720 nm options: a 10 nm narrow band and a 15 nm high-pass option. The field of view is 49.5° × 38.1°, and images are saved as 16-bit TIFF or 8-bit JPEG files on a 64–128 GB microSD card.

Ethernet and TTL serial interfaces support integration, while four M3 mounting points provide the installation interface. The MS600 V2 accepts 7–30 V DC power and has a specified operating temperature range of 10°C to +50°C. Compatibility extends to JOUAV drones ranging from CW-007 to CW-80E. It can also be used with Yusense Map software for multispectral channel alignment, image stitching, multi-source data fusion and vegetation-index calculation.
