The JOUAV CA503R is a five-lens, full-frame oblique camera for UAV surveying and 3D modeling. Its configuration combines 225MP total effective pixels, an image resolution of 8192 × 5468 and a 36 × 24mm sensor format, with a 40mm vertical lens focal length and 56mm oblique focal length. It uses a back-illuminated sensor designed for high sensitivity and low noise. The CA503R belongs to the CA50XR family, which is suitable for fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs. Civilian applications include surveying and mapping, real estate photography, heritage protection, smart city construction, disaster assessment and old city renovation.
The CA503R uses external onboard POS synchronous exposure via CAN bus, with a specified exposure interval of 0.85 seconds. Its operating temperature specification is -40°C to 65°C, with 93% RH working humidity at temperatures of 40°C or below. The family's modular construction separates the camera body, control unit and data-copy unit to simplify replacement and repair, while collected imagery supports outputs including 3D models, DSM and DLG through positioning and modeling technologies.
