Product overview
The JOUAV AQ600 is a multispectral camera payload for UAV imaging. Its five multispectral channels provide 3.2 megapixels each, alongside a 12.3-megapixel RGB channel. The manufacturer positions this combination for precision agriculture, forestry monitoring, river and lake ecology, and target identification. Physically, the camera combines an aluminum alloy body, an all-glass lens and a sapphire optical window. The optical design is described as offering a large aperture, low distortion and broad-spectrum transmission.
For installation planning, the published camera envelope is ≤80 mm × 80 mm × 78 mm, with a mass of 410 ± 5 g and an 8 × M3 installation interface; these manufacturer values should be confirmed for the selected configuration. Electrical integration requires 12 V DC, with consumption specified as ≤16 W at that voltage. Settings are accessible through Wi-Fi web access, Ethernet or UART, while image acquisition supports aircraft and overlap triggering. Published capture rates are 1 Hz for pictures and 20 Hz for video.
The standard configuration comprises five specified multispectral wavelengths plus RGB and 128 GB storage, with capacity support extending to 2 TB. Custom wavelength combinations are available from the manufacturer's listed options, so procurement should identify the required band set. Yusense Map and Yusense Map Plus are listed for processing, without an explicit license-inclusion statement. Imaging geometry is qualified at 120 m height. Environmental limits also matter: the −10°C to +50°C operating range requires relative wind speed of at least 1 m/s, and humidity must remain non-condensing at ≤85%.
