Company overview

YUSENSE is a Qingdao-based developer of multispectral imaging equipment and software for drone remote sensing and photoelectric detection. Founded in 2017, the company was jointly established by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Qingdao High-tech Zone. Its core team comes from the institute's space optics department. Its work combines equipment development with spectral data processing and civilian applications in agriculture, forestry, ecology and environmental monitoring.

Its hardware range includes the five-band MS200 series, four-band agricultural MS400 and ground-based MS400G series, and six-band MS600 V2, MS600 Pro and satellite-coordinated MS600 Dual. Additional instruments include the six-band HR600 mapping-grade aerial camera, seven-channel broadband AQ300 and AQ300 Pro, five-band video multispectral AQ600 and AQ600 Pro, and eight-band SIF imaging FD500 and FD500 Pro. The VD200 is a five-band multispectral module for DJI Dock 3; the Pro versions of MS600, AQ300, AQ600 and FD500 are designated DJI editions.

YUSENSE's software range supports data preprocessing through MAP, data analysis through MAP PLUS, ground-terminal control through YUSENSE NET, spectral data display through YUSENSE VIEWER and camera development through YUSENSE SDK. Civilian application areas include crop growth, emergence, pest and disease assessment, forest and grassland classification, vegetation coverage measurement and ecological restoration assessment. Water-related applications include eutrophication, shoreline ecology, surface oil spills and wetland monitoring, while grassland applications include pasture growth, coverage assessment and invasive-species monitoring.
