The HOBBYWING XRotor PRO 25A 3D is an electronic speed controller intended for 330-400 class 3D multirotors. It changes motor rotation rapidly to enable 3D flight. Its DEO technology provides active braking, quickly slowing the motor when throttle is reduced to assist maneuvers including sharp turns, altitude changes and sudden braking. Adaptive default settings include automatic timing. Electrical ratings are 25A continuous and 40A peak, with a 3-4S LiPo battery specification and no BEC output.
The controller measures 46.6x22.2x10.5mm and weighs 25g. Its physical design combines an external aluminum heatsink with airflow slots, while a twisted-pair throttle signal cable reduces transmission interference. Input wiring consists of one red and one black 18AWG lead, each 150mm long; output wiring comprises three black 18AWG leads, each 75mm long. There are no input connectors, and the outputs use 3.5mm female gold connectors. Stick programming, DEO and timing are supported. Throttle range calibration, OneShot mode, light color and the listed motor rotation feature are unsupported.
