The HOBBYWING XRotor Flight Controller F4 is a flight control component for FPV flying and racing, supporting quadcopters and hexacopters in applications of 130mm and above. Its 35*35mm size and 6g weight define the basic installation envelope. Built-in OSD, voltage and current monitoring, external buzzer support and LED control provide aircraft integration functions. Programming uses Betaflight/Cleanflight-configurator with the OMNIBUSF4SD firmware target. Connections include MicroUSB and TF-card support, with a stated card maximum of 32g. Hardware configuration remains ambiguous between STM32F405 and STM32F722 descriptions. The STM32F722-described configuration includes an ICM20602 six-axis sensor, Flash logging, bidirectional DShot, 5V and 12V BEC circuits, and a DJI transmission port with a supplied flat cable for connection without soldering. Its 30 * 30MM and 20 * 20MM mounting patterns accommodate different frames. Flexible flat cable connections and mounting-hole shock absorption address vibration, with better effect specified when using a Hobbywing tower 4in1 ESC. In this configuration, the Pit Switch enables radio switching of the VTx after adjustment in flight controller software.
