The XAG SuperX 5 Pro Intelligent Control System provides flight control, environment perception, data transmission and RTK navigation for agricultural drones, including the XAG P60 and P150. Its simplified flight-control architecture uses an automotive-grade chip, processors and control algorithms to support autonomous farm operations. Computing power is specified as ten times that of the XAG SuperX 4 Intelligent Flight Control System. Within these aircraft, it supports flights for agricultural tasks such as spraying, spreading and field mapping, with task equipment determining the drone's working configuration.
The aircraft's sensing hardware combines 4D imaging radar with a downward-facing visual module. The radar detects obstacles along the flight direction at distances of 1.5–100 meters without relying on ambient light; its effective detection range depends on the target's material, position and shape. Real-time environment perception supports autonomous terrain-following flight over hilly ground without a preloaded 3D map. The visual module records ground features at takeoff and landing points and triggers automatic hovering when it detects anomalies. These functions operate as part of the drone's integrated flight and sensing configuration.
