The Xingkai XK-F303KE carries HD digital video and multiple data streams over a broadband wireless link. Network traffic, flight-control commands, PTZ-control data and remote-control data can travel simultaneously. Its air and ground unit architecture supports point-to-point communication and point-to-multipoint relay operation, with additional air units providing expansion. Users can set the channel encryption key independently. Ground-station integration uses a serial connection or a network connection with UDP/TCP, while transparent transmission supports serial and SBUS data.
Physical integration centers on dimensions of 115 × 92 × 28mm and weight of ≤300g. The interfaces include three serial ports and one SBUS, with UART supporting TTL/RS232 and simultaneous transmission through at most three network ports. Antenna gains are 2.5dBi for the air unit and 12dBi for the ground unit. Electrical input spans DC12V–DC28V, with DC22V as the standard input. The radio covers 1420–1530MHz and offers 3, 5, 10 and 20MHz bandwidth settings with OFDM modulation. Maximum directional throughput has conflicting ratings: 30Mbps downlink and 26Mbps uplink at 20MHz bandwidth, alongside a technical rating of 30Mbps uplink and 26Mbps downlink. The system supports OTA, local and remote upgrades, as well as IEEE802.3 and transparent serial-data communication.
