Product overview
The Unicore UMD982 is a BeiDou-only high-precision positioning and heading module for UAVs, precision agriculture and robotics. Based on NebulasIV, it combines on-chip RTK positioning with dual-antenna heading calculation and simultaneously tracks BDS B1I, B2I, B3I, B1C, B2a and B2b signals. Its Dual-RTK engines independently output RTK solutions for both antennas. An integrated interference mitigation unit provides 60 dB narrowband interference mitigation, along with interference detection and interference information output. The module also supports B2b-PPP positioning.
RTK positioning accuracy is 0.8 cm + 1 ppm horizontally and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm vertically, both RMS. Dual-antenna RTK and heading updates run at 20 Hz, with raw data output also at 20 Hz. Typical initialization takes less than 5 seconds, with initialization reliability greater than 99.9%. The 48-pin LGA module measures 16.0 × 21.0 × 2.6 mm and weighs 1.82 ± 0.03 g. It operates from -40°C to +85°C, with a humidity specification of 95% non-condensing. Interfaces include three LVTTL UARTs; I2C, SPI, CAN and BDS SBAS support is limited to specific firmware versions or hardware models. CAN shares pins with UART3.
