Product overview

The Unicore UM982 is an embedded GNSS positioning and heading module for UAVs, autonomous machinery and precision agriculture. Its NebulasIV system-on-chip brings RF, baseband processing and high-precision algorithms together. Master and slave antenna inputs support on-chip RTK and dual-antenna heading, with independent positioning solutions through the Dual-RTK engine. The hardware is a 48-pin LGA module measuring 16.0 × 21.0 × 2.6 mm and weighing 1.82 ± 0.03 g, establishing a compact component footprint for integration into a host system.

Integration provisions include three LVTTL UARTs and firmware-dependent SPI, I2C and CAN interfaces; CAN shares UART3. Master and slave inputs have different supported signal sets, and master-antenna BDS B2b support also depends on firmware. RTK and heading data update at 20 Hz, with heading accuracy specified as 0.1° at a 1 m baseline. Operating temperature spans -40°C to +85°C, while the humidity specification requires no condensation. Differential input uses RTCM V3.X, and output formats include NMEA 0183 and Unicore.
