Product overview

The RadioLink F405 is a flight-control component for integration into racing drones, multirotors and other supported vehicle types. Its electronics combine a 168MHz STM32F405RGT6 processor, an ICM42688 gyroscope with a dedicated LDO supply, an SPL06-001 barometer and 128MB of blackbox storage. Reserved gyroscope pads allow an optional MPU6500 replacement. The controller supports ArduPilot, Betaflight and INAV, giving integrators firmware choices for different control requirements. Its six output channels accommodate supported configurations that include 2-6-axis multirotors, fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and flying wings.

A 30.5×30.5mm footprint combines socket connections with soldering pads for peripheral integration. Digital video uses a 6-pin interface with direct DJI O3/O4 connection support, while analog video has a 4-pin VOUT socket. Integrated BEC outputs provide 3.3V/300mA, 5V/3A and 9V/3A for external equipment, and a programmable 9V switch controls video-transmission power. The board also incorporates a built-in OSD, 4.5V/5V circuit isolation, 2oz PCB copper, capacitor filtering and protection components intended to suppress motor back-EMF surges.

The supplied configuration consists of one F405 controller, two ESC connection cables, GPS and R8SM receiver cables, analog video and camera cables, and a package box. This is a controller package for aircraft integration rather than a complete flight platform. Receiver support includes SPEKTRUM, SBUS, TBS Crossfire and ExpressLRS; throttle interfaces include bidirectional DShot, DShot, OneShot and PWM with ESC telemetry feedback. The stated operating range is -30°C to 85°C. A firmware-loading limitation remains: Betaflight Configurator currently loads only Radiolink firmware while Betaflight team review is pending.
