Product overview
The Unicore UFirebird IV UC7510I is an industrial-grade, single-frequency GNSS navigation and positioning chip from Unicore Communications, Inc., intended for vehicle, drone and GIS handheld applications. Built on a 22 nm process, it has 64 channels and supports BDS B1I/B1C, GPS L1C/A, GLONASS G1, Galileo E1B/C, QZSS L1C/A/L1C/B/L1S and SBAS L1 signals. It supports combined multi-system positioning or independent single-system positioning, including BeiDou-only and BeiDou-priority operation. Built-in functions include interference mitigation and spoofing detection.
The UC7510I includes flash memory and uses a 4.0 × 4.0 × 0.75 mm QFN28 package, with an industrial operating-temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. Family specifications include tracking sensitivity of -165 dBm, cold-start sensitivity of -148 dBm and selectable 1, 5 or 10 Hz data updates. Interfaces comprise one UART, one I2C and one SPI, with SPI support dependent on the firmware version. Supply requirements are 1.7–3.6 V for V_IO and V_BACK, and 1.2–1.98 V for V_CORE. Dead reckoning requires algorithm integration and an external IMU.
