Product overview
The AXR 8842 MG-D from Zhuhai SV Tech Co., Ltd. is a standard servo for model steering, control-surface movement and mechanical actuation. Its configuration combines a coreless motor, stainless steel gears and two bearings within a 40 × 20 × 36.6 mm envelope. At 70 g, with a 300 mm cable, it gives equipment designers defined packaging and wiring dimensions to accommodate alongside the mounting holes and servo-arm connection.
The servo accepts 4.8–8.4 V power and PWM control, with a specified operating frequency of 333 Hz. At 8.4 V, stall torque is 32 kg·cm and no-load speed is 0.063 s/60°; running and stall currents are 0.5 A and 3.3 A respectively. Continuous-load selection requires attention to the separate rated torque of 9 kg·cm at 7.4 V and the intended duty cycle, because stall torque cannot serve as a sustained-load rating.
Control setup requires care: the reference pulse is 1520 µs, while the angle mapping places the midpoint at 1500 µs and associates 500 / 1500 / 2500 µs with -90 / 0 / 90°. Neutral and usable travel therefore depend on the controller and delivered version. Integration also requires the final mounting drawing and interface version. Initial adjustment should use a removed or restricted load, with supply headroom for transient current and protection against sustained loading at mechanical end stops.

| Continuous-load limitation | Stall torque is not a continuous-load rating; continuous-duty selection must also account for rated torque and duty cycle. |
| Supply-range limitation | The operating-voltage range defines permitted supply voltage; performance data do not cover every voltage within that range. |
| Neutral position and usable travel | The reference pulse is 1520 µs, while the positional midpoint is 1500 µs; establish neutral position and usable travel for the controller and delivered version.Controller and delivered servo version. |
| Mounting dimensions | Drawing and specification dimensions may use different reference points; mounting-part fabrication requires the final installation drawing and interface version.Final installation drawing and interface version. |
| Integration and commissioning | Check supply, pulse width, mounting holes and servo-arm connection. Establish neutral, direction and mechanical travel before progressively applying load. Allow supply headroom for transient current and avoid cable voltage drop, reversed connections and sustained loading against end stops.Initial setup with the load removed or restricted. |
