The Scorpion HKII-4525-450KV - ULTIMATE is a brushless propulsion motor intended for 700-class helicopters. Its construction combines a 45 mm diameter, 25 mm thick stator with 12 stator arms, 10 poles and a 7T YY winding made from a single strand of 1.2 mm wire. CNC-machined aluminum alloy parts receive a gold electro-coated finish. The stator uses 0.2 mm laminations and an epoxy coating, while the winding wire is rated at 180 degrees C (356 F).
