The Scorpion HK5-5530-355kv 8x40 shaft is a helicopter propulsion motor from the fifth generation of Scorpion’s HK series. It is intended primarily for 12s–14s operation in 850mm–950mm+ helicopter applications. Its physical architecture combines a 55 mm diameter stator, 30 mm stator thickness, 12 stator arms and 10 poles, with a 6T 2Y winding and 1.68mm motor wire. Cooling uses an internal fan together with an external centrifugal fan to move air through the motor.
